QUT ATAR For Paramedicine

If you want to study paramedicine at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), you will need a strong ATAR. QUT offers the Bachelor of Paramedic Science to school leavers which is 3 years in duration. QUT’s paramedicine degree was the first course in Queensland in paramedic science, and it has a strong emphasis on clinical experience with placements beginning in the first year of the degree. The median unadjusted ATAR needed for entry into QUT’s Bachelor of Paramedic Science was 92.25 in 2022. We recommend aiming for this goal, or above it, to ensure you have the best chance of gaining admission into QUT’s Bachelor of Paramedic Science as selection ranks continue to change each year. QUT offers several adjustment schemes and bonus points, and the lowest adjusted ATAR accepted was 88.05. Griffith ATAR For Paramedicine

Griffith University offers a 3-year Bachelor of Paramedicine degree at its Gold Coast campus. Griffith includes what they refer to as work-integrated learning activities (or clinical placements) into the degree which integrate theoretical learning with its application in the workplace. The median unadjusted ATAR for admission into Griffith’s Bachelor of Paramedicine at their Gold Coast campus was 95.80. You should aim to meet or surpass this if your goal is to study paramedicine at Griffith Gold Coast. In 2022, the lowest adjusted ATAR to gain admission was 97.55. The Australian Catholic University (ACU) offers a 3-year Bachelor of Paramedicine degree at its Brisbane campus. Entry remains competitive, and the ATAR score required is similar to QUT’s. Here are the scores to study paramedicine at ACU in 2022:

The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) offers a Bachelor of Paramedicine degree at their Ipswich campus. The duration of 3 years matches the other degrees from the universities above. This degree was offered at the University of Queensland though it transferred to USQ in 2015. Entry remains competitive, though the ATAR score required tends to be on the lower end. The University of the Sunshine Coast’s Bachelor of Paramedicine degree is another popular choice for prospective paramedics from Queensland and requires a competitive ATAR score. CQU Paramedicine

Central Queensland University (CQU), located in Cairns, offers a Bachelor of Paramedic Science degree and is another popular choice for prospective paramedics from Queensland. Paramedicine is an intense, fast-paced degree and career choice, and it can be difficult to gain entry from high school. Nonetheless, a career as a paramedic is incredibly rewarding and well worth the effort to achieve.
