In addition, the prestige of the university plays a significant role for law degrees in Queensland, with more prestigious universities attracting a higher ATAR requirement.
As a result, it can be difficult to get a definitive score for entry, though in general you should aim for an ATAR between 73 and 98.

University of Queensland ATAR For Law
The University of Queensland offers the most prestigious and in-demand undergraduate law degree in the state, and as a result its entry requirements are the highest for prospective lawyers. The degree is a 4-year Bachelor of Laws with Honours. Here are the ATAR scores required to study law at UQ for 2022:

UQ offers 2 bonus points if you are studying Specialist Maths, and 2 bonus points if you are studying a language other than English. QUT ATAR For Law
If you want to study law at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), you will also need a strong ATAR. As we noted above however, the entry requirement for QUT is lower than UQ. Like UQ, the degree runs for 4 years full-time. Here are the ATAR scores that were required for law at QUT:

Students were guaranteed admission with an ATAR of 98 or above. QUT offers several adjustment schemes and bonus points. You can receive 2 bonus points for studying Specialist Maths, 2 for Physics, 2 for Aerospace Systems or Engineering, and 2 for a language other than English. Griffith University also offers a 4-year Bachelor of Laws (Honours) like UQ and QUT. Like these universities, entry into law at Griffith University also requires a high ATAR score though it tends to be slightly lower than UQ and QUT. Here are the scores to study law at Griffith in 2022:

The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) offers a Bachelor of Laws degree. The duration of 3 years is shorter than the other degrees from the universities above. Law is without a doubt one of the more difficult degrees to gain entry into from high school, though this does not mean that it is impossible.
